D.O.P Live Music Band

"D.O.P" is the name of a band that one of my friends, a full-time music student, formed with classmates. D.O.P. is an acronym for "drums, orchestra, and piano."  On the weekends, he and his classmates perform live music in restaurants. 

My friend contacted me to create a logo to use on business cards and social media to promote his work.

He was enthusiastic in including some of the band's instruments in the logo. To allow myself the space to add some of the instruments to the letters, I used a very simple font. I then started drawing all the instruments by hand, as well as adding lighting and shadows to give the logo more depth.

For this particular project I used the app Procreate.
